The Powerbase is a heavy-duty power supply offering 0-15V ac and 0-20V dc smoothed outputs.  oth outputs are continuously variable and may be used simultaneously up to a combined output current of 8A. The front panel contains a large knob, which is used to select the required output voltage. The approximate voltages are shown surrounding the dial.Also on the front panel are an on/off switch with neon indicator, fi ve output sockets for ac, dc and earth and a reset button. The reset button operates if there is a short circuit or overload on any of the outputs. The rear panel contains a fuseholder fi tted with 5A fuse and a fi xed mains lead. The unit also contains a voltage limiter lock, which sets the maximum voltage.
