Updated compact ripple tank with built in strobe illumination. The tank is 10cm square and is supported on a base which provides the wave generator and lighting. These can be automatically synchronised to give static images, or controlled independently to give moving images. Images of the water-waves produced in the tank are projected upwards on to a frosted screen which is viewed from above. Includes dippers, barriers, refraction plates and plug-top power unit.

 

A full set of spare dippers and plates is available including 5 acrylic shapes for refraction, 3 aluminium plates for reflection and 3 dippers for plane and circular wave generation. Replacement tanks are also available.
