It comprises a set of 8 transparent plastic pipes, 4cm diameter and ranging in length from 30 to 60 cm. Each pipe is clearly labeled with technical information relevant to the note which can be produced if the pipe is lightly struck on the palm of the hand. The eight pipes produce an octave of notes from Middle C upwards and allow a class, learning the ideas behind sound and music production, to have a fun session producing real tunes.
