The 2.8cm Microwave Kit is focused around a Transmitter and Receiver which are designed to demonstrate the properties of  electromagnetic waves and to teaching the behaviour of visible light. Both transmitter and receiver are compatible with existing microwave kits (e.g. Unilab and IEC models). A full set of accessories are also available.

The detector probe allows the student to measure, plot and investigate microwave field intensity. The probe is largely non-directional and benefits from a built in amplifier with variable gain and meter displaying the relative signal strength. Output can be taken via an oscilloscope. The Probe Detector is compatible with most 2.8cm microwave educational systems on the market.
