How do I register with you?

Once you have items in your shopping cart, as you go to checkout, you will be asked to register. Fill in the fields on the form, then click on Register. If you are a school and your school is in our database, then select it from the drop down box. If it is not, you will be asked to enter your school onto the database. Then click Complete Registration. We will then email you your username and password. If you are a private individual, please enter your address details and then we will email you with your username and password.

How do I place an order?

Ordering with Newton Resources is easy. You can pay by credit card by simply having your address and card details to hand, simply select the Express Checkout option and follow the on screen instructions. To order on your school's account you need to be registered (see How do I Register?). Then simply select your items, add them to your basket and then proceed to the check out. If you're an educational establishment and have an account with us, an invoice will be sent out to you.

Do prices include VAT?

All prices shown are excluding VAT. This is added on at the checkout stage, unless the product is VAT exempt.
 
Is shopping online safe?

All sensitive credit or debit card infomration is held by our secure payment gateway providers, SagePay. Your information is encrypted once entered, and only used in conjunctino with your purchase Due to SagePay's continual monitoring and upgrades, our payment system is fully PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant and uses 128-bit SSL encryption on all data. Keep your eye out for the security padlock on the payment page of our website.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

Contact us and we'll advise you on stock availability. Just give us a call on 0114 3240035.


When will my item be delivered?

Delivery times will depend on stock availability. If there are problems with stock, we will inform you of that, and if there are multiple items on your order, we may despatch some items, then additional items when they are in stock. For more information, give us a call.

How much is delivery?

Orders over £150 (not including VAT) are carriage FREE within the UK mainland. Our standard delivery charge for orders under £150 (not including VAT) is £5.95 within the UK mainland. Carriage outside mainland UK is charged at cost, this will be added in manually by us and confirmed by you via emails through the system before the order can proceed. If your order includes chemicals, and the order value is below £150 (ex VAT) then carriage will be £10.50. Carriage is still free on order over £150 (ex VAT) if your order contains chemicals.
We may also be able to arrange Next Day delivery if you need to products urgently. Just contact us and we'll see what we can do.

I would like a catalogue - how do I get one?

You can download our current catalogues from our website. Just click here. Alternatively, if you would like a hard copy posted to you, please complete our form and we'll get one out to you as soon as possible. Please remember to provide as accurate details as possible.

I have a promotional code - how do I use it?

When you are placing your order, simply enter your code into the promotional code box, then your discount will be applied when you check out.
